One of the most exciting bands from Eastern Europe, K not K (formerly Karpov not Kasparov) creates upbeat, danceable electronic music inspired by the game of chess. For over a decade, the duo has performed across nearly every European country — in clubs, cultural institutions, museums, art galleries, and at major festivals — sharing the stage with artists such as GusGus, Underworld, Altın Gün, and Poni Hoax. Their first album, Soundtrack for a Game of Chess, was named “Album of the Month” by Vice Magazine and praised as “one of the most remarkable releases of the year” by Radio Romania Cultural.
