Matthieu Sampeur, actor, graduated from the Conservatoire national supérieur d’art dramatique (CNSAD) in Paris in 2009. On stage, he has worked with Dominique Valadié, Yan-Joël Collin, Nada Strancar, Philippe Garrel, Julie Duclos and Krystian Lupa in Salle d’attente (based on Category 3.1 by Lars Noren) and Perturbation (based on Thomas Bernhard), as well as with Thomas Ostermeier on Chekhov’s The Seagull and Ibsen’s Ghosts, and subsequently with Guillaume Vincent, Jean-Pierre Vincent, Claudia Staviski, Gianni Schneider and Christiane Jatahy in Hamlet, Entre chien et loup and Ithaca. On the big screen, he appeared in Rembrandt and Un peuple et son roi by Pierre Schoeller, Else by Thibault Emin (Best Actor Award at the 2024 SCREAMFEST Horror Film Festival in Los Angeles), Antoine dans les Cévennes by Caroline Vignal, and subsequently in films directed by Murielle Magellan, Julie Manoukian, Romane Bohringer and Philippe Rebbot.
