Founded in 2010 by producer and artist Marius Alexe, also known as BEAN MC on the Romanian music scene, SUBCARPAȚI has grown into a hub for multiple forms of art, giving rise to a community of artistic confluence and creation. Artists from different regions of the country, spanning various generations and artistic disciplines, gather around SUBCARPAȚI to create freely, inspired by their roots and the magnetic beauty of their home region. This has led to a growing musical movement that blends contemporary and cool sounds with archaic influences.
