Saddo, a contemporary artist of Romanian origin, currently based in Bucharest, works across canvas paintings for galleries, large-scale murals, and commissioned illustrations for various projects and brands. In both his personal and commissioned works, he blends his admiration for artists such as Rousseau, Matisse, and Grayson Perry with his fascination for Iranian miniatures, Asian rugs, and his love of contemporary illustration, decorative arts, hip-hop, and urban culture. He combines diverse elements—surreal imagery, portraits of rappers, luxury cars, brand logos—to create his own complex iconography. He has participated in numerous group exhibitions worldwide (Copenhagen, New York, Berlin, Montreal, Ottawa, Salvador, Bangkok, Vienna, Mexico City, Oakland, Portland), held solo exhibitions at BC Gallery in Berlin and Mobius Gallery in Bucharest, and painted murals in Montreal, Bangkok, Las Vegas, Seattle, Bucharest, Paris, and Rabat.
