Born in 1978 in Seini, Dan Vezentan graduated from the University of Arts in Bucharest and lives and works as an artist and photographer in Bucharest. He explores the zootechnical and agricultural universe through a subjective lens, drawing on memories of his childhood. His works focus on the design of farm structures, feeding and watering systems for animals, and food storage systems, addressing themes of food production, surpluses, biological waste, and ecology. He grew up in an agricultural environment in Maramureș, northern Romania, surrounded by feeding machines, technical manuals on animal husbandry, and books on animal anatomy.
