SHOW AND SHORT FILMS BY RIMA PIPOYAN WITH HAYK KAROYI

Rima Pipoyan, a choreographer, director, and dancer, is a pioneer of contemporary dance and modern ballet in Armenia. Widely recognized internationally, she continues to contribute to the evolution of her art through teaching and numerous artistic projects. Among the works presented during this evening will be: BONE, a performance exploring the myths of the ‘wild woman’; KHALI (world premiere) with music by Hayk Karoyi, featuring five dancers symbolizing the colors of an intergenerational Armenian carpet YEL, an award-winning short film that addresses inner struggle through dance; and REEK, an environmental dance film that addresses climate change in Armenia.
