Karim Kattan
Karim Kattan is a Palestinian writer from Bethlehem, born in Jerusalem. He holds a PhD in Comparative Literature and writes in both English and French. His first novel, Le Palais des deux collines, was published by Éditions Elyzad in 2021 and won the Prix des cinq continents de la francophonie that same year. His next novel, L’Éden à l’aube, was published in 2024. His French-language writings have appeared in various publications, including Le Monde, Libération, Mediapart, AOC, in literary or poetic journals, as well as in several collective works. Additionally, his texts have been presented in art spaces such as the Venice Biennale, the Mercosul Biennial in Porto Alegre, the São Paulo Architecture Biennial, the MMAG Foundation in Amman, Kaaitheater in Brussels, B7L9 in Tunis, Art Kulte in Rabat, Mophradat in Athens, Frac des Pays de la Loire, the Berlinale Forum in Berlin, the Centre Rhénan d’Art Contemporain in Altkirch, Galerie Imane Farès in Paris, and many others.
