Susanna Harutyunyan

Susanna Harutyunyan, born in 1963 by the lake Sevan, is today one of the most influential writers in Armenia. Her work has been translated into Persian, Greek, Romanian, Azerbaijani, German, Kazakh, and English. For The Secret Village, translated from Armenian by Nazik Melik Hacopian-Thierry (Les Argonautes, 2024), she won the Presidential Prize for Literature in 2016.
