Karen Mamikonyan
Pianist and composer Karen Mamikonyan has been widely recognized in the Armenian jazz scene for over 20 years. Jazz enthusiasts know him as the permanent keyboardist for various Armenian jazz groups such as Kind of Trio, New Quintet, The Birds, Dialog Project, Silence Duo, Acoustic Colors, as well as for his collaborations with artists from other genres.
Karen Mamikonyan has participated in numerous international jazz festivals and events, including JAM, InterYerevan Jazz Fest, Kavkaz Jazz Festival, EverJazz Festival, Dubai Jazz Fest, and What A Wonderful World. Among his Armenian peers, he stands out for his unique style and approach to creating and interpreting modern, contemporary, and avant-garde jazz compositions, infused with elements of classical music. He is also a member of the Yerevan Calling Quartet.
Arman Mnatsakanyan
Arman Mnatsakanyan graduated from the Yerevan State Conservatory in 2021. During his studies, he participated in the Berklee College of Music’s summer program. He has worked as a classical percussionist at the National Opera and Ballet Theater and as the principal drummer for the Armenian State Jazz Orchestra. He has taken part in various international jazz festivals and is currently the main drummer for several groups: Hip NoyZ, Armenian Navy Band, Decentralized, Yerevan Calling, and the Tigran Hamasyan Trio. His musical horizon is very broad, and he is known for his open-minded approach to music. Thanks to his exceptional technique, he is capable of performing in any style and with any aesthetic
Arman Peshtmaljyan
Arman Peshtmaljyan, a graduate of the Yerevan State Conservatory, is a highly sought-after musician who has become the permanent keyboardist and arranger for the ethno-jazz group "MVF." He regularly performs with the Armenian State Jazz Orchestra. In addition to his collaborative work, he recently formed his own jazz quintet. Many of his original jazz compositions have been successfully performed by both Armenian and international artists. He participated in numerous international jazz festivals, including those in Armenia, Georgia, China, and the United States. Arman is also a member of the Yerevan Calling Quartet.
