Arman Vahanyan

Born in Yerevan in 1978, Arman Vahanyan lives and works in Yerevan. He graduated from the P. Terlemezyan Academy in Yerevan, majoring in engraving. In 2024, he was an artist in residence at the IDEM Paris art printing studio as part of the MENK project, with the support of the Friends of Idem and the IFA - French Institute of Armenia, where he produced three aquatint etchings presented for Week-end à l'Est. His visual designs arise from the collision of independent influences and an inner filtering process. For the artist, there are no secondary or insignificant details, as nothing exists without leaving an imprint.
